The Dynamics of Implementing Social-Based Financing Schemes: A Case Study on the Integration of Microfinance and the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) Program in Lampung Province to Support MSME Sustainability
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the dynamics of the implementation of social-based financing schemes through the integration of microfinance and the Free Nutritional Meal Program (MBG) in Lampung Province, as well as its impact on the sustainability of MSMEs. With a qualitative approach and multiple case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, and policy documentation from three regions in Lampung. The results show that the integration of microfinance–MBG contributes to increasing the economic resilience of MSMEs, although there are still challenges in institutional coordination and policy consistency. This study provides recommendations for improving cross-sectoral policy design and strengthening local capacity.
