Analysis Analysis of the Impact of International Trade Policy on Global Marketing in the Era of Globalization
A Study on Market Expansion, Competitive Strategy, and International Business Dynamics
Abstract
Globalization has accelerated the growth of international trade and encouraged the expansion of marketing activities across global markets. Policies related to international trade, such as import duties, quotas, export incentives, and free trade agreements, play a significant role in shaping global marketing practices in many countries. Earlier studies mainly emphasized the economic effects of international trade, whereas discussions concerning its impact on global marketing are still relatively limited. This study was conducted to examine the influence of international trade policies on global marketing during the globalization era. The research applied a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature review based on books, academic journals, and other relevant references associated with international trade and marketing issues. The study reveals that international trade policies provide several advantages, including broader international market access, higher export performance, and stronger competitiveness of products in global markets. Nevertheless, these policies also create challenges, including tighter international competition, trade restrictions, and obstacles faced by domestic products in competing with foreign goods. This research provides additional insight into the relationship between international trade policies and the development of global marketing in the era of globalization.
