The Effect Of Management Information System Integration on Operational Efficiency And Retrieval Managerial Decisions

Abstract
This study aims to analyze and describe the influence of Management Information System (MIS) integration on operational efficiency and the quality of managerial decision-making through a descriptive qualitative approach based on literature review. The method employed is a systematic literature review using the PRISMA framework as a guide for literature selection. The results of the literature review consistently demonstrate that MIS integration positively impacts operational efficiency through three main mechanisms: business process automation, data redundancy elimination, and acceleration of cross-functional information flow. Furthermore, MIS integration enhances the quality of managerial decision-making by providing accurate, real-time, and comprehensive information. The literature review also identifies several conditional factors that moderate these relationships, including technology infrastructure readiness, human resource competency, and organizational leadership commitment. This study provides a comprehensive theoretical synthesis that can serve as a foundation for further empirical research and MIS implementation policy decisions in organizations.
