Data were collected through questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 27, which included tests of validity, reliability, classical assumptions, coefficient of determination, t-test, and F-test. The results showed that competence had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, while work ethic had a negative and significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, competence and work ethic had a significant effect on employee performance with a coefficient of determination of 79.5 percent.
