Abstract

The mining industry plays a vital role in the Indonesian economy, while commodity price fluctuations and the implementation of mineral downstreaming require companies to manage liquidity and assets effectively. This study aims to determine the effect of Current Ratio (CR) and Total Asset Turnover (TATO) partially and simultaneously on Return on Assets (ROA) at PT Aneka Tambang Tbk for the 2015–2025 period. This study employed a quantitative approach using a case study design. The population and sample consisted of the company's annual financial statements for the 2015–2025 period with 11 annual observations. Data were obtained through documentation and analyzed using descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, Pearson correlation, and coefficient of determination with SPSS 26. The results show that CR has a partial positive and significant effect on ROA, while TATO also has a positive and significant effect on ROA. Simultaneously, CR and TATO have a significant effect on ROA with an Adjusted R Square of 0.809. The conclusion of the study shows that liquidity and the effectiveness of asset utilization are important factors in supporting company profitability.
