Abstract

The implementation of the Triple Helix model in higher education is an important strategy to increase the relevance of the entrepreneurship curriculum and improve graduate competitiveness. The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of synergy between academia, industry, and government in curriculum transformation and its impact on improving graduate competency. Data were collected through a quantitative approach using questionnaires and a qualitative approach using in-depth interviews and tracer studies. The research hypothesis is that the Triple Helix model has a significant influence on curriculum transformation and graduate competitiveness. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive and inferential statistical methods combined with qualitative findings. The results show that academia and industry play a significant role in integrating research, project-based learning, and practice-based learning. However, government support remains limited to regulatory aspects. Experience-based curriculum transformation has been shown to improve graduate managerial competence, independence, and innovation, although global business reach remains low. These findings emphasize the need for strengthened government support and the development of digitalization- and globalization-oriented curricula to enhance graduate competitiveness.
