The Role Of Learning Interest In Moderation Of The Influence Of Social Environment And Parental Parenting Styles On Students' Learning Outcomes

Abstract
Using learning interest as a moderating variable, the purpose of this study was to learn more about how parenting practices and the social environment influence economic learning outcomes. A quantitative approach with descriptive research components was used. 120 eleventh-grade students from SMA Negeri 4 Selayar served as the research sample. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was used for data analysis. The results showed that learning interest was significantly influenced by the social environment. Learning interest was strongly influenced by parenting practices. Learning outcomes were significantly influenced by the social environment. Learning outcomes were significantly influenced by parenting practices. Learning outcomes were significantly influenced by learning interest. The social environment can influence learning outcomes through learning interest, and parenting practices can influence learning outcomes through learning interest.
