Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Islamic movement-and-song method for memorizing daily prayers among early childhood students at Sulubus Salam Islamic Kindergarten in Bandar Lampung. This method is employed to facilitate enjoyable memorization for students. The study utilizes a descriptive qualitative approach involving the school principal, two teachers, and 12 students from Group A (aged 4–5 years) as informants; data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the Islamic movement-and-song method is highly effective in facilitating the memorization of daily prayers, as children find it easier to memorize through enjoyable learning activities. It is recommended that the kindergarten implement this method consistently and train teachers to develop a variety of movements and songs tailored to the children's developmental stages.
