Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of teacher work effectiveness in improving the quality of basic education. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of the principal's transformational leadership and school culture on teacher work effectiveness. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. The study population was 183 teachers and a sample of 126 teachers selected through proportional random sampling. The research instrument was a Likert scale questionnaire, while data analysis techniques included descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, and path analysis. The results showed that the principal's transformational leadership had a positive effect on teacher work effectiveness, school culture had a positive effect on teacher work effectiveness, and the principal's transformational leadership also had a positive effect on school culture. In conclusion, strengthening transformational leadership and school culture is an important strategy for improving teacher work effectiveness.
