Abstract

This study aims to analyze managerial performance in implementing the Local Supplementary Feeding (PMT) Program for pregnant women with Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED), funded by the Health Operational Assistance Fund (BOK) at Margojadi Inpatient Public Health Center. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving purposively selected informants and analyzed using George R. Terry’s management functions: planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling. The findings indicate that all four management functions have been implemented but remain less than optimal. Planning is constrained by budget limitations and changes in target beneficiaries, while supervision is affected by limited personnel, wide service areas, and high workloads. Supporting factors include leadership commitment, the involvement of healthcare workers and community health volunteers, and the availability of program guidelines. Meanwhile, barriers include coordination, resource limitations, budget constraints, and low compliance among some beneficiaries. The study concludes that managerial performance should be strengthened through improved coordination, optimized BOK utilization, enhanced human resources, and regular monitoring and evaluation. It is recommended that the health center improve program management to ensure more effective, efficient, and targeted implementation of the Local Supplementary Feeding Program
